Public Sector Leadership
The Guardian reported yesterday on the mounting pressure that cuts in spending and legislative change are placing on public sector leaders. In what it calls a time of ‘great uncertainty’ and ‘unprecedented change’, it mooted the importance of ‘a renewed focus of effective internal communications’ in combating falling morale amongst employees. According to The Guardian, falling morale has been a major problem within the public sector in particular and it should be something that senior managers should be working to combat, especially when it comes to keeping their employees informed of changes within the immediate organization.
